The drupal theme of the Pirate Party UK.

The Pirate Party UK are moving to Drupal. As part of our commitment to using open source software and permissively licensed material, we will be publishing our theme as it is put together, as well as more information regarding the modules and configuration used to create the parties web presence.

At present this project is at an early stage, expect many updates, but that this theme will not be fully functional for some time.

After installing the theme, you may note that some functionality and visible elements fail to match the screenshot or other development versions running the same theme version. This is because the theme styles elements that do not exist by default in a drupal installation. Specifically some menus, content types, blocks and modules are required and may have to be positioned. A installation text will be included with all prerequisites.

I prefer to use the ruby, indented style sass when writing stylesheets, its cleaner and faster.

Zen assumes .scss style SASS, so this project includes .sass files. This is a drop-in replacement for the a "STARTERKIT" subtheme.

Development

• Omega 4.x is still under active development. You may want to review active omega 4 issues.
• Cloudy includes a stable version of the epiqo layout which was included in Omega until alpha6. The layout is currently being refactored as stated in the alpha7 notes.

Compatibility

Cloudy is geared towards the Recruiter distribution and its features: Recruiter cloudy includes tweaks for the theme as exported block classes and alter hook implementations. Recruiter menu positions the required blocks into the navigation region.

Still, you can try the Cloudy theme with any other Drupal installation. You will want to make sure that blocks are positioned within the regions defined by the theme and apply block classes similar to those from Recruiter cloudy.

A base theme dependent on LESS CSS preprocessor for hardcore themers.

Features

• Using LESS CSS preprocessor, for more organized and less css
• Inspired by Tao, removed most core styling by default, for lesser default css overriding
• Using Eric Meyer's HTML5 latest reset.css, to reduce browser inconsistencies.

Installation

• Install LESS module, follow its simple installation requirements
• Make sure you check LESS developer mode when developing your custom theme, /admin/config/development/less
• Copy baseless_subtheme folder and rename it to your subtheme name.

This is a standalone port of the Eldir theme from Aegir. A new unbranded hefring subtheme has been added for use on non Aegir sites.

It is hoped that this will be merged into the official Eldir theme. See #1907010: Port Eldir to D7.
